Responsibilities

·Categorizing web content under existing taxonomy and helping determine its evolution.

·Describe web sites to effect concise abstracts useful to search engines.

·Making judgments about the quality and appropriateness of web content sources.

·Performing relevance tests designed to measure data quality across Yahoo’s search products.

·Analyzing user behavior and making recommendations based on those observations.

·Communicating directly with customers via email about web content submitted to Yahoo!

·Able to program journalistic content working in cooperation with the news editors and product managers
